Where is Plush based, and will you travel for a performance?

The band members are from Melbourne’s South East and West Gippsland. In most cases travel to these areas are no concern. If your event is either on the edge or outside these boundaries, accommodation and travel costs may be incurred.
 

How much does it cost to hire PLUSH?

Costs will vary depending on travel requirements, accommodation needs and venue size. Larger venues simply require more sound and lighting equipment which increases the cost to put on a show for you. Some events such as weddings require earlier than usual set up times which means a longer day, therefore extra cost to the customer. When do we have to pay?

Cash payment is expected on the day of the event. 
 

What do I get for my money?

You get a five piece band, full PA system, lighting and a fully qualified Sound Engineer. You also get well over two hours of performance time that’s split in a way that best suits your event.
 

Can we use your microphones for speeches and the sound equipment to play background music?

Yes. You are welcome to use a microphone for speeches. If you wish, you may also utilise the PA system to play your own iPod music when the band is not playing.
 

Do we have to provide you with meals and refreshments?

This will depend on many factors and should be discussed with the band prior to confirming the booking. Most entertainment venues will offer a special meal rate for the people engaged to provide a service at your event, such as musicians and photographers.
 

How long do you need to set up?

PLUSH will need at least 2.5 hours to set up prior to your event starting. It is important your venue is made aware of this.
 

Do you have any special set up needs?

The band require a stable and flat stage area. The stage area must be dry and protected from the elements and be minimum 6.0m wide and 3.5m deep. At least two power outlets (Separate circuits if possible) are required.
 

Can we see you play?

Yes. You are welcome to come and meet the band and hear them play at a pre-arranged viewing. Dates and times can be made by mutual agreement.
